Career: Injecting

Julie Nielsen is a veteran injector who was one of the first injectors in the industry in Utah. She began injecting in 2007 at Aesthetica. Her time at Aesthetica was one of intense training and crafting her art. After three great years of injecting at this large plastic surgery practice, she accepted a position with Elase Medical Spas, injecting at all three of their locations.

Career: Training and Teaching

Julie simultaneously taught essential and advanced injection training courses for the National Institute of Medical Aesthetics (NIMA). She loves teaching and enjoyed the six years she worked with NIMA. Julie then accepted a larger role as a National Trainer for Allergan Pharmaceuticals. She traveled the nation teaching medical professionals the art of injecting. She specialized in training on Allergan’s family of products including Botox, Juvederm Ultra/Ultra Plus XC, Voluma XC, Vollure XC, Volbella XC, and Kybella. Julie launched Kybella, for Allergan, after receiving its FDA approval. Julie trained other Allergan National Trainers on how to safely and effectively inject and train on Kybella. Julie was the #1 injector of Kybella in the nation.
